Abbasanta

Dome Austinu is located in the countryside of Abbasanta, a small town on the plateau of the same name. The territory boasts a geographical position of considerable importance: it is in fact the crossroads between the main road arteries of the island (SS131, SS131bis). It is an archaeological area of great interest, characterized by the presence of dolmen, holy wells and tombs of the giants. There are four Nuraghi, including one of the most important in Sardinia, the well-known Nuraghe Losa. It has a very characteristic historic centre, enriched by traditional buildings in dark basaltic stone.
